Vintage Collage Creations (Ages 8–12)

Channel the charm of old-fashioned magazine art in this fun and imaginative mixed-media class! Students will explore how to combine vintage magazine clippings, painted layers, and creative textures to build an original collage that tells a story. Along the way, they’ll learn about design balance, composition, and how artists use layering to create depth and movement.
Perfect for young artists who love fashion, design, or just getting messy with materials! Everyone will go home with a finished collage artwork worthy of a gallery wall. Dress to impress! We’ll walk our final products down a runway of our very own at the end.
